By accessing and using Savvy Badges ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Savvy Badges regarding your use of our platform and services.

Service Description

Savvy Badges provides a smart badge platform that enables organizations to create professional event badges with advanced features for seamless event check-in and networking.

Our services include but are not limited to:

• Smart badge design and creation platform
• Event check-in and access control systems
• Custom branding and personalization options
• Flexible printing solutions (on-site and pre-event)
• Networking and contact exchange features
• Real-time event analytics and reporting
• GDPR-compliant data processing
• Technical support and consultation

By using our service, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information when registering
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
• Use the service only for lawful purposes
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Not attempt to interfere with or disrupt the service
• Not use the service to conduct fraudulent activities
• Respect the privacy and data of event participants
• Use badges and event data responsibly and ethically

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. Savvy Badges cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to comply with this security obligation.

You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

Payment Terms

Payment for our services is processed through Stripe, our secure payment processor. By making a payment, you agree to Stripe's terms of service and privacy policy.

• All payments are processed in Euros (EUR)
• Event-based pricing is billed upon service completion
• Subscription services are billed monthly in advance
• Refunds are subject to our refund policy
• Failed payments may result in service suspension
• Additional printing costs may apply for on-site services

Data Protection & Privacy

We are committed to protecting your privacy and personal data in accordance with GDPR and other applicable data protection laws. Our data processing practices are detailed in our Privacy Policy.

By using our service, you consent to the collection and use of information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, including the processing of participant data for badge creation and event management purposes.

While we strive to maintain high service availability, we do not guarantee that the service will be available at all times. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

• Scheduled maintenance
• Emergency repairs
• Technical difficulties
• Circumstances beyond our control
• Printer hardware issues (for on-site services)

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Savvy Badges shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the services in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Intellectual Property

The service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Savvy Badges and its licensors. The service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

You retain ownership of any content, logos, or designs you upload to create badges. However, you grant us a limited license to use this content solely for providing our badge services to you.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any of the proprietary material on our service without explicit permission.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation, including but not limited to a breach of the Terms.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the service will cease immediately, though we may retain event data as required by applicable laws or regulations.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be interpreted and governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Netherlands.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect.

What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
